New Years Day and World's Cutest Flowergirl

I realized I never posted pictures from New Years Day. Michelle had a great time. We played with cascarones at Nana's house in the morning and we went to Nana Cruz's house in the afternoon where Michelle had a lot of fun running around with her cousins. All too soon it was time to come home. We weren't gone long, though.

Last weekend Michelle and I took a trip to San Antonio for "Aunt" Dolores' wedding. Michelle was the world's cutest flowergirl and I was the matron of honor. She did a great job (as well as any three year old with a lot of energy can be expected to). She was such a little trooper the whole weekend. I'm so proud of her.
Keeping herself entertained during our two hour delay at DFW.
Multi-tasking.
Practicing for her official duties.

So cute trying on Mommy's shoes.

Holidays in San Antonio

Michelle had a great time in San Antonio. She got to see a lot of friends and family and she had fun with everyone. The weather was nicer than Boston so she enjoyed getting outside in Nana's backyard and spending New Years Eve downtown at a party at the Children's Museum and on the Riverwalk. We were all sad to leave and come back to the cold winter.

Getting her first introduction to makeup. Uh oh!

Pre-Christmas

Yesterday we had pre-Christmas so that we don't have to ship presents back and forth. Michelle had a wonderful time opening her presents. She was on overload all day, though. She didn't know what to play with first. I love seeing the holidays through her eyes.

Another special thing about yesterday was seeing Michelle in her Scottie jammies. That was one of the first things I ever bought for Michelle back in 2005 right after our dossier went to China. I dreamed of the day my little girl would get to wear them. It's always so special to see her with something that I bought for her so many years ago.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!
