Michelle had a great time in San Antonio. She got to see a lot of friends and family and she had fun with everyone. The weather was nicer than Boston so she enjoyed getting outside in Nana's backyard and spending New Years Eve downtown at a party at the Children's Museum and on the Riverwalk. We were all sad to leave and come back to the cold winter. Getting her first introduction to makeup. Uh oh! New Years Eve Party at the Children's Museum
Yesterday we had pre-Christmas so that we don't have to ship presents back and forth. Michelle had a wonderful time opening her presents. She was on overload all day, though. She didn't know what to play with first. I love seeing the holidays through her eyes.
Another special thing about yesterday was seeing Michelle in her Scottie jammies. That was one of the first things I ever bought for Michelle back in 2005 right after our dossier went to China. I dreamed of the day my little girl would get to wear them. It's always so special to see her with something that I bought for her so many years ago.
Michelle had a very fun weekend. We went to a Halloween party at her gym Saturday and then she had a playdate with a friend from our travel group yesterday. I love seeing her have so much fun. Her smile lights up the whole room.
